• Navigating Childhood Relationships
  One of the most common parenting challenges is helping children through friendship struggles—whether it’s teasing, exclusion, peer pressure, or competition. This workshop offers practical strategies and mindsets to help you build trust and open communication with your child. You’ll also learn how to use open-ended questions that encourage your child to share their experiences and guide you in supporting them effectively through the ups and downs of their social world.

• Positive Identity Development 

  Raising a child with a strong, positive sense of self is a challenge in a world  filled with external—and often subliminal—messages about our many identities. In this workshop, you’ll explore how certain messages can be unintentionally reinforced for your child, even without your conscious approval. How can you recognize and counter society’s negative narratives about race, gender, culture, and other aspects of identity? Learn proactive strategies to support and nurture your child’s positive identity development with intention and care.
